Snowmobile Trailers

When winter time comes, there's plenty of snow in our area to support a long snowmobiling season. Most of us however, aren't lucky enough to have good trails in our own backyard and need a way to transport our sleds. Our inventory of snowmobile trailers in Erie, PA exceeds any other dealers between Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA and Buffalo, NY. We also boast the best product and prices in the PA, NY, OH tri-state area. And as the largest snowmobile trailer dealer, we also have the most advanced service center available to back our trailer sales department.

Open Sled Trailers

by Mission Trailers

Tilt bed open snowmobile trailers offer the most economical way to haul your sled. Made with mostly aluminum construction, these trailers are designed to last through the harsh winter climate. They are also lightweight and virtually maintenance free. Mission open sled trailers feature a slide-track tie down system for convenience. Durability is a key aspect of any trailer that will be pulled through salt spray. Marine-Tech treated plywood decking, sealed grommet lights and sealed wiring all ensure a long lasting trailer.

    Standard Features:
  • All Aluminum Frame
  • Box Tube Construction
  • Sealed & Enclosed Wiring
  • Sealed Rubber Grommet Lights
    w/ Protective Lenses
  • Marine Tech Wood Decking
  • Slide Track Tie Down System.
  • Tor-Flex Axles
    with EZ Lube Hubs
  • Rear Edge Loading Protector

We stock a few different open sled trailers during the snow season. We offer a single place snowmobile trailer that is 52" wide. Our cheapest 2 place trailer is called a "Duralite" and it is a simple 101" x 10' tilt bed with a straight single-pull tongue; available with or without an aluminum salt-shield. The Duralite comes with a factory one year warranty. The next step up is called a Mission Premier, featuring a wish-bone, three point pull tongue, and a 4 year manufacturer warranty. We also stock open V-Nose sled trailers. These are drive-on/drive off open snowmobile trailers that have stow away aluminum ramps. We stock both a 12', two place and a 20' four place. These have the 3 point wishbone tongue and the 4 year warranty.

Clamshell Covered Snowmobile Trailers

by Mission Trailers

Covered sled trailers are the next step in protection for your snowmobiles. They are known as clamshell trailers because of their resemblance to a clam when opened. The aluminum covers are hinged in the front and include an assisted lift. The tilt bed allows you to drive the sled onto the trailer, tie it down and close the lid over top of it, protecting it from the elements and harsh salt spray on the winter roads. This is also a great way to store your snowmobiles year round, secure and protected.

    Standard Features:
  • All Aluminum Frame
  • Box Tube Construction
  • Sealed & Enclosed Wiring
  • Sealed Rubber Grommet Lights
    w/ Protective Lenses
  • Marine Tech Wood Decking
  • Slide Track Tie Down System.
  • Tor-Flex Axles with EZ Lube Hubs
  • 54" High Lid
  • Interior Dome Light
  • Rubber Slush Guard on Front
  • Large Front Storage Door
  • Side Vents
  • Radiused Diamond Plate Stone Guard
  • Rubber Washers and Foam Tape

We have both tiltbed and drive on/drive off covered snowmobile trailers. The 10' length is the most common, but we'll usually stock a 12' also. The lid is actually an add-on accessory. The trailers mentioned above are outfitted with the cover. Often, a tilt assist is added to help with the added weight of the lid.

Enclosed Snowmobile Trailers

by Mission Trailers

Enclosed trailers offer unmatched security for transporting and storing your snowmobiles. Mission V-Nose snowmobile trailers feature aluminum construction, stainless fasteners and screwless exterior for a long lasting, great looking trailer with minimal maintenance. Drive-on/drive-off capability with front and rear doors and full length slide-track tiedown system make loading your snowmobiles easy and convenient. We also offer a non v nose sled trailer that's built on the same frame as our open sled trailers. It doesn't have all of the features that the vnose sled trailers do, but the price is closer to the clamshell trailer.

    V Nose Standard Features:
  • All Aluminum Frame
  • Box Tube Construction
  • .030 Smooth Skin Screwless Exterior
  • Sealed & Enclosed Wiring
  • Advantech Decking & 12" Kick Plate
  • 1 Piece Seamless Aluminum Roof w/ Roof Vent
  • EZ Lube Hubs
  • Tri-Frame Straight Arrow Tongue
  • Full Length Slide Track Tie Down w/ D-Rings
  • 4 Year Limited Mfg Warranty
    Crossover Standard Features:
  • All Aluminum Frame
  • Box Tube Construction
  • Sealed & Enclosed Wiring
  • Marine Tech Wood Decking
  • Spring Assist Ramp Gate
  • .030 Exterior Skin
  • Low Price Entry Level Enclosed Trailer

We stock the 7' wide V nose enclosed snowmobile trailers and the Crossover in a 101" x 12. There are many options available to customize these traielrs.

Open snowmobile trailers: For simplicity and price point, you can't beat an open aluminum trailer for hauling snowmobiles. Essentially an aluminum flatbed trailer, tie down rails are added and either a tilt bed or aluminum ramps allow loading and securing of your sleds. This is the cheapest way to transport snowmobiles. Optional salt shields will help to protect your equipment, but if you're trying to protect expensive cargo, you may want to consider a covered or enclosed trailer instead.

Clamshell snowmobile trailers: Clamshell sled trailers are the happy medium between protection and price. They offer an aluminum enclosure to protect your equipment, but at a very economical price point. The cover opens on hinges to allow you to load your sleds, then latches down to protect them while travelling or in storage. Most feature a tilt bed, you simply drop the rear of the deck down, drive your snowmobile onto the trailer and latch it back flat again. Also available are drive on/drive off covered sled trailers, but these are less common and a little more money.

Enclosed snowmobile trailers: Sled trailers offer a few additional conveniences beyond other aluminum cargo trailers. One of the most desired features of a snowmobile trailer is called drive on/drive off functionality. This requires two ramp doors, usually in a V nose enclosed snowmobile trailer. This way, you can drive your sled up the ramp in the back and a secong ramp in the "V" allows you to drive back off. Ski guides and tracks simplify the loading process and make it safer. Having an aluminum snowmobile trailer is also very important because steel construction simply won't hold up to years of winter salt spray as well as an aluminum sled trailer will. We offer enclosed sled trailers in a variety of sizes to accomodate any number of snowmobiles, from two to four places.
