AirLite Light Duty Cargo Trailers

The AirLite line represents our entry-level, personal use cargo trailer. If you don't need anything fancy and just want a basic cargo trailer, the Air Lite is for you. By cutting down on some of the "bells and whistles", the price is kept low, but quality and craftsmanship are still right where they need to be. These aren't "cheap trailers", but they are low cost. Their light weight makes them easy to tow with smaller vehicles. We stock several sizes from 5' x 8' and up in both ramp door and barn door models.

Nighthawk V-Nose Cargo Trailers

The Nighthawk enclosed trailers are our basic V-Nose. They offer the common features that customers expect, but at a great price. They represent the best value on the market. Of all of the V Nose cargo trailers available in the PA, NY, OH area, our Nighthawk series cannot be matched with these features at our low prices. We stock American Hauler Nighthawks in many sizes from 5' wide up to 7' wide and the most popular lengths. The 16 inch "V" is always added to the length on our cargo trailers, not included. Generally 5' and 6' wide trailers will be single axle and 7' wide be tandem axle. Ramp doors work great for conversion to an enclosed motorcycle trailer or landscape trailers, or even just to ease loading of cargo and rear double barn doors can be more convenient when used for construction trailers. The V-Nose is often the better choice if you are looking for an enclosed motorcycle trailer because the front tire of the bike fits nicely into the V.

Falcon XC Enclosed Cargo Trailers

The American Hauler Falcon trailer is our basic round top, round nose enclosed cargo trailer. The rounded roof is often preferred to the flat roof of V-nose trailers. The features are very similar to the Nighthawk line, but the Falcon is a more conventional design of closed cargo trailers. The interior also features your choice of the white vinyl walls or 3/8" plywood walls. A good choice for enclosed construction trailers is the rear barn doors with the durable plywood walls.

How to find the right trailer for your needs

We offer the area's largest selection of open and enclosed cargo utility trailers. We keep all of these trailers in stock most of the time.

Trailer Features: We have a huge variety of enclosed trailers in many sizes and styles. They can be customized for a variety of uses. We offer V Nose cargo trailers and non v-nose trailers. Some of the cargo trailers we offer have flat roofs, others will have rounded roofs. Most of the enclosed trailers that we offer do feature a one piece aluminum roof, though some of the economy lines will have a seam to lower the cost. The interiors will differ between different models, some with white finished walls and some with plywood walls. We also offer a variety of accessories for enclosed trailers. Often some accessories like roof vents and interior lights come standard on cargo trailers. Enclosed cargo trailers can be constructed primarily out of aluminum or can feature a steel undercarriage. Aluminum cargo trailers are lighter than steel, but also generally more expensive. When towing a cargo trailer in harsh winter conditions, which usually include salt spray, aluminum trailers will corrode less and will likely last longer than conventional cargo trailers. This is why most enclosed snowmobile trailers will be feature aluminum construction.

Construction Trailers: One of the more common uses is as enclosed construction trailers. There are many considerations when trying to find the right cargo trailer. If you are using it as a job trailer or construction trailer, you may want to consider getting a heavy duty cargo trailer with heavier plywood walls. Tandem axle trailers can carry more weight and if you're loading your job trailer with construction supplies and tools, this is normally a necessity. Light duty single axle cargo trailers may be used for smaller businesses when you'll probably be carrying a ton or less of payload. Roof racks and ladders make it easy to carry longer cargo that may not fit inside of the trailer, regardless of trailer size.

Landscape Trailers: We often work up a quote including accessories to convert a normal cargo trailer into a custom enclosed landscape trailer. Adding some racks and carriers for equipment can provide the organization and convenience needed to keep your employees working efficiently. Enclosed trailers can be locked and provide additional security to protect your expensive equipment. Enclosed car trailers can make great landscape cargo trailers because their size can accommodate several riding mowers, keeping them both secure and protected from the elements, without using up valuable shop space for storage. Heavy duty ramp doors make it easy to load and unload your mowers and extra-wide side entry doors allow your workers to easily access the equipment that they need.

Motorcycle and ATV Trailers: Another common use for cargo trailers is as enclosed motorcycle trailers or ATV trailers. When converting an enclosed trailer to a bike trailer, usually all that is needed is as many wheel chocks(to support and stabilize the motorcycles) and some tie down D-Rings. There are many other accessories available, especially for those looking for a custom race trailer. As far a trailers for quads, the wheel chocks aren't needed and some tie downs are usually sufficient. Either way, a ramp door allows easy loading and unloading. When building a single bike trailer out of a smaller cargo trailer, a side door can allow access to equipment that may not be easily reached while your bike is loaded and should be a consideration when trying to decide which enclosed bike trailer will work best for you. Side doors generally come standard on bigger trailers, so if you're designing a 2 bike trailer or larger, this usually isn't a concern.

Enclosed Car Haulers: Of course, most of the enclosed car haulers that we sell are used for automobiles. Commonly, shelving, cabinets and other accessories will be added to create a custom race car trailer. Another great use is for show cars and classic cars. The trailer doubles as out of the weather storage and security. Enclosed car trailers are wider than most cargo trailers. Since laws dictate that trailers must be kept at 8 1/2' wide, you'll find that 102" wide car trailers are most common. Heavy duty ramp doors can easily support the weight of a car.

Enclosed snowmobile trailers: Sled trailers offer a few additional conveniences beyond other aluminum cargo trailers. One of the most desired features of a snowmobile trailer is called drive on/drive off functionality. This requires two ramp doors, usually in a V nose enclosed snowmobile trailer. This way, you can drive your sled up the ramp in the back and a secong ramp in the "V" allows you to drive back off. Ski guides and tracks simplify the loading process and make it safer. Having an aluminum snowmobile trailer is also very important because steel construction simply won't hold up to years of winter salt spray as well as an aluminum sled trailer will.
